Physical Therapist Vacancy at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell Kentucky/TennesseeSalary: $58,667.00 - $74,628.00 /yearApplication period: Wednesday, September 21, 2011 to Tuesday, October 04, 2011As an Educational and Developmental Intervention Services Physical Therapist you will independently evaluate referred clients for diagnosis and treatment planning and determine current levels of functioning. Clients include infants and children with Down's syndrome, muscular dystrophy, neuromuscular and orthopedic dysfunction, learning disabilities, and other disorders. Functional area assessments include gross and fine motor skills, reflex maturation, gait and ambulation, muscle strength, joint range of motion, self-care skills and activities of daily living skills, visual/motor/perceptual skills, and neuromuscular functioning. Establish short and long-term achievement goals. Provide direct therapy, consultation, monitoring, and co-teaching models of services to children with identified physical therapy needs.
