Job Description:The director will be responsible for all clinical and non-clinical education/staff development for the hospital as well as providing patient and community health educational needs. The Director also functions as the Manager of the Medical Library and will function as the library resource person for all staff and physicians. A major upcoming project for this department is gaining certification for a new inpatient diabetes programJob Requirements:The candidate will need to be an RN with a Master's Degree however; the Master's does not have to be in nursing. They must have worked in a hospital setting in Education and have management experience in the department. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the director will supervise 2 FT, 2 PT educators and 1 FT secretary.
