Prestigious, 40 year old, Internal Medicine facility in Rice Village is seeking an experienced (at least 3-4 years) medical collections rep to work in the business office. Must have knowledge of Medicare and commercial payor claim resolution and appeals. Working knowledge of CPT and ICD9 coding is ideal. Prefer candidate to have multi-specialty experience. Candidate must be organized and a team player. Computer skills required. Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.Insurance follow up is a big part of the position. Must have Medicare & Commercial payers experience. No certification required. This is a busy medical clinic and there is a heavy work load.  Must have a very professional look and this facility requires the employees to wear suits/jacket everyday. After 90 days; medical (free care at the clinic), dental and vision (after 6 months). Quarterly bonuses.  PTO is accrued from the date of hire (after ProSource contract period) at 0-4 years of service = 5.54 hours per pay period (every two weeks) Annual = 144 hours or 18 days and Holidays off.Must be professional and easy to get along with (shining personality). Must have at least 3-4 years of collections experience. Collector has to have experience interacting with patients to financially counsel, and understand benefits.  Must have Medicare & Commercial payers, plus patient financial counseling experience.
