Clinical Psychologist positions available with the Department of Army, working as a Civilian employee. The positions are located at Fort Hood, TX. You will perform duties as a practitioner and consultant in Psychology with an emphasis on problems of all levels of complexity. You will provide treatment services in any capacity including, but not limited to: inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, consultation liaison, and military specific evaluations as assigned. After review of electronic medical records to determine if a Medical Decision Retention Point (MRDP) has been reached for a behavioral health condition(s), you will communicate any occupational limitations to the command utilizing military profiles in accordance with established policies. You will serve as a subject matter expert for the development of the psychiatric portion of the Narrative Summary (NARSUM) which summarizes the psychiatric and related medical conditions. You will also develop the psychiatric addendum to the NARSUM by reviewing Disability Evaluations completed by the Veterans Affairs physician, treatment records, and other documentation.You must possess a Doctoral Degree in Psychology, be a Licensed Psychologist, and have a year of experience related to providing psychiatric treatment services for complex psychiatric disorders and conducting psychiatric evaluations in order to qualify.
