You have a Masters degree in Nursing or related field and are licensed as an RN in the state of Texas (or have the ability to gain this licensure). You have at least five (5) years of quality management/improvement, risk management, and/or performance improvement in an acute care setting. You have experience developing and implementing a quality process within a hospital. You hold certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). You have strong experience in leading and facilitating multidisciplinary teams. You take great pride in your understanding of data and performance improvement analysis. We seek candidates for the role of Director of Quality Review. In this role you will be responsible for the overall direction of the operations of the Department of Quality Review. You will assume responsibility for the direction of fiscal and human resources required to support this department and the development of the quality review coordinators. You will prepare highly detailed and/or confidential reports, and develop/revise policies, procedures, and other guidance documents that are used by others at all levels of the organization.Candidates must have Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field and be licensed as an RN in the state of Texas. Preference will be given to candidates with a Masters degree. Must have at least five (5) years of quality management/improvement, risk management, and/or performance improvement in an acute care setting. Strong preference given to candidates with CPHQ certification. Candidates must have experience developing and implementing a quality process within a hospital. Must have excellent and persuasive communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening skills.
