You have a Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field. You are a well-rounded HIMS professional who holds RHIA/RHIT credentials. You have at least five (5) years of experience in health information and management systems that includes at least three (3) years of leadership/managerial experience. In this role you will manage health information management functions, services, and systems for an assigned area. You will be responsible for the achievement of the business unit(s) goals in targeted unbilled accounts receivable, designated quality outcomes in coding, transcription services, records and electronic records system usage and maintenance, and facility Health Information Privacy and Portability Act compliance. You will plan work processes, process improvements, and the use of new technology for the facility(s) health information management. You will conduct analysis of key processes, HIMS and clinical staff usage of records systems, and customer satisfaction. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a Masters degree. Must have RHIA/RHIT credentials. Candidates must have at least five (5) years of experience in health information and management systems that includes at least three (3) years of leadership/managerial experience.
