In this role you will report to the Manager of Database Services.  You will be responsible for designing, architecting, and supporting data warehouse databases with an emphasis on Teradata.  You will  identify, resolve, and prevent performance bottlenecks in highly complex data warehouse environments in a fast-paced, high-growth company. This role is critical in ensuring the company’s ability to deliver business results in a timely manner to its customers. You will be unwavering in your goal to develop and support data warehouses that are tuned for optimal database performance.Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience or a Master's and eight (8) years of experience.  Candidates must have at least five (5) years of Teradata database administration experience.  Must have a proven track record of planning, architecting, developing, and managing partitioned database environments and procedures to support enterprise applications and business functions.  Must have expert level Database Design, Data modeling, and architecture experience in data warehouse environments.  Candidates must have expert knowledge of SQL and experience with multiple database technologies (Teradata, DB2 LUW, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Sever, etc).  Must have proven skills in developing and communicating project plans to various levels of management.Very competitive base salary and full benefits.  Relocation assistance provided.  H1B candidates will be considered for this role.  Candidates who wish to work remotely will be considered for this role.   This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing healthcare company (rated highly on FORTUNE’s list of the 100 Fastest Growing Companies for 2010) whose knowledge and expertise help make the healthcare system work better for everyone.
