We seek candidates with experience with major clinical maintenance contracts and an aggressive vendor management program to serve in the role of Director - Asset Life Management. In this role you will be responsible for the strategy, management, integration, and implementation of Asset Life Cycle Management for major clinical equipment in support of the clinical, financial, and strategic objectives. You will be responsible for maximizing uptime and availability of selected Hospital and affiliated company assets by minimizing service costs, minimizing inventory costs, and disposing of or selling Hospital assets at most economical point in their lifecycle. Candidates must have a Masters degree in Clinical Engineering, MBA or relevant area of study. Must have at least five (5) years experience managing the support of major clinical equipment for a large healthcare system. Must have excellent experience working with vendors of medical/clinical equipment regarding repair practices and components of medical technology equipment. Candidates must have strong knowledge of the lifecycle costs of used equipment prices and associated trends. Must have hands-on experience creating and implementing complex asset management strategy and programs for hospitals, systems and/or corporations. You take pride in your ability to manage and influence biomedical instrumentation managers and technicians. Must have excellent negotiating skills.Very competitive compensation and full benefits.
