Hood can enjoy skiing in the winter, or hiking and mountain climbing in the summer. Looking for a change of scenery?  We have an exciting opportunity for an RN with management experience in hospice and/or home health for the role of Hospice Executive Director.  In this role you will be responsible for the overall direction of the hospice services. You will be responsible for the employment of qualified hospice personnel.  You will oversee the provision of hospice services and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations.  You will be responsible for establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. You will establish, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Oregon (or have the ability to gain this licensure).  Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Masters degree in Health Care.  Must have at least three (3) years of supervisory/management experience in healthcare management.  Candidates must understand hospice care and the services provided to patient and family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary group.  Must have intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification.  Candidates must have knowledge of corporate business management. Must demonstrate an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.  Must have the ability to deal tactfully with the community. Competitive compensation and full benefits.  Relocation assistance provided.
