The Physical Therapist directs the evaluation, development, coordination and implementation of physical therapy intervention to patients in order to maximize each patient's functional ability. Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and organization.  This position is a full time opportunity for a hospital located in the greater Houston area. Specific Job Related Duties :•        Evaluate, treat and discharge planning to patients. •        Participate in rounds, clinics and case conferences.•        Monitor service delivery by support personnel. •        Document patient progress in medical record. •        Participate/assist in implementing new programs. •        Delegates duties appropriately to physical therapy assistants and/or Rehab Aide. •        Supervise students as requested. •        Participate in Quality Assurance Program. •        Preferred candidate will possess Licensed Physical Therapist•        This position is day shift, with some weekend work required. For immediate consideration, contact Ernie Moore at ernie@graciaconsulting.org or 925.420.6603
