Alexian Brothers Senior Ministries is seeking an experienced Director of Quality Improvement & Safety for Senior Ministries including St Louis, Missouri, Chattanooga, Tennessee and Milwaukee, Wisconsin skilled nursing and day center facilities.  Key Responsibilities Areas - Develops and oversees comprehensive safety/quality/performance improvement programs and analyzes trends as it relates to clinical services in long-term and day center care for the elderly - Initiates policies and procedures for regulatory compliance, evidence based care, standards of practice, and clinical reimbursement - Assesses facilities compliance and identifies areas of vulnerability – directs development of strategies to enhance compliance - Educates and trains healthcare leadership and staff regarding regulatory issues, new statutes and guidelines as they relate to quality improvementEducation, Experience - 7+ years in clinical nursing; exp with elderly and adult disabled persons in a day center or long-term care facility - 2-3 years as Director of Nursing/Administration in a long-term care facility - Experience in acute care for the elderly preferred. - Supervisory experience required - Current state RN license; bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing preferred - Experience with Medicare/Managed Care/MedicaidKnowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of medical/healthcare disciplines - Work effectively with leadership teams to provide improvement initiatives when necessary - Effective training and coaching attributes - Regular travel requiredIf you are a caring individual, team player and understand the needs of seniors, please submit your resume and salary history to employment@alexianbrothers.net or fax 314-894-2695.  Please include the position title you are applying for in your email or fax cover sheet.
