41446PT Licensed Physical Therapists- Home CarePositions are available throughout VA to include Charlottesville, Richmond, Covington, Suffolk, Hampton, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. Salary open ----  WILL RELOCATEREQUIRED:1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program. 2. Must have a current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia or be licensure eligible. 3. BLS completion within 3 months of hire.Reports to the team coordinator. Assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and accurately provides Physical Therapy (PT) evaluations; develops and implements PT treatment plans; provides education and information to patients and caregivers; participates in required discharge planning and completes all required documentation according to policy. The PT supervises and assumes responsibility for are provided by Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants. May be assigned other duties such as clinical instructor for student affiliations, performance improvement, and program development. Must have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Physical Therapy from an American PhysicalTherapy Association accredited program. Must have a current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia or be licensure eligible. Other requirements include-BLS completion within 3 months of hire. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to operate and apply therapeutic equipment; ability to lift/push/pull light to heavy equipment, supplies, and patients; creativity and problem solving skills.
