A Charlotte, NC-based corporate health and wellness company, is experiencing national expansion and has an immediate opening for an experienced and dynamic Nurse Practitioner to provide care in a Diease Management/Wellness Clinic. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to help employees make more informed choices and lead healthier, happier lives. Job Description: Operation in a workplace clinic Easthampton, MA. 4 hours/week on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday Strong wellness and disease management focus Some acute/episodic care with focus on triage to primary care physicians Utilization of Healthgram(tm), our proprietary Electronic Medical Record, to log chart reviews Phone and in-person collaboration with a local Supervising Physician Phone and e-mail collaboration with our Charlotte-based Medical Director Wellness education experience is a strong plus! Requirements: MSN - masters of science in nursing graduation from an accredited NP program as either ANP (adult nurse practitioner) or FNP (family nurse practitioner) Active licensure in the Massachusetts National certification from either the AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) or ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center - which is the certifying branch of the ANA [American Nurses Association]) Since workplace clinic settings do not provide all the amenities of hospital systems, Nurse Practitioners employed by our operate within a limited scope of practice, including prescribing ability. All of our Nurse Practitioners are strongly supported by a local Supervising Physician as well as by our dedicated team of health and medical professionals. This position has the strong potential to expand locally and/or nationally if desired by the Nurse Practitioner.
