A 4-Physician Cardiology practice in Northwest Houston is looking for an experienced Cardiology (specific) Medical Assistant. Position is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or possibly 8:30am-5pm with a half an hour lunch. This is a stable practice with excellent employee retention. This person must have at least 5 years experience as a Medical Assistant and at least 1 year specifically in Cardiology. MA must be able to do vitals, draw blood, room patients, be familiar with cardiac drugs, knowledge of holter monitors, EKG's, prepare lab results, and prescription refills. MA must have experience in a medical clinic/office, not a hospital. Looking for someone mature, team player, someone with a "lead" type personality, self sufficient. Previous job stability is a must-no job hopping. Candidate MUST live in the Cypress area. Benefits if and when position goes direct hire include medical (after 90 days of direct hire employment), vacation and sick (accrued), 401K (match) and pension.This person must have at least 5 years experience as a Medical Assistant and at least 1 year specifically in Cardiology.
