A 4-Physician Cardiology practice in Northwest Houston is looking for an experienced Cardiology (specific) Biller. Position is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with a half an hour lunch. Practice does 70% Medicare with the rest being commercial. This is a stable practice with excellent employee retention. This person will be the sole Biller posting EOB's, so this is the most important part of the job. Dress code is business attire and on Monday and Thursday's neat jeans because there is no clinic.This person must have at least 5 years experience as a biller and at least 1 year specifically in Cardiology. Must be familiar with Cardiology codes. Must have strong Medicare billing experience. Must be strong with claim appeals, charge entry, insurance verification, follow up calls and getting the claims paid. Must have very strong experience in posting EOB's since this person will be the only one posting. Biller must have medical clinic/office experience, not hospital. Looking for someone mature, team player, someone with a "lead" type personality, self sufficient. Previous job stability is a must-no job hopping. Candidate MUST live in the Willowbrook area.
