Medical center in eastern Texas is seeking a Staff Clinical Pharmacist. There are two positions. One is evenings 7 on and 7 off and a mixed shift position. The Pharmacist is responsible for providing drug therapy as well as patient and staff education for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patients quality of life. Will complete physician medication orders, monitor patient medication through the patient profile and provide medication information. cooperate with professional staff in designing, implementing and monitoring a therapy plan to produce specific therapeutic outcomes for the patient. May have responsibility for the assessment, treatment and/or care of patients of all ages. Will supervise supportive personnel and may be required to assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Director. Qualifications include: Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Hospital experience required. Current license as a registered pharmacist in the state of Texas. License must be in good standing with the Texas Board of Pharmacy. Salary is $95-110K; overtime available; relocation assistance available.
