A medical records department within a larger Medical Center, downtown, is looking for a medical records scanner/data entry rep. This is a temporary assignment, Sunday through Thursday 8:30 to 5pm. This person will be scanning medical records and entering in the demographics of each scanned record in the provided software for coding purposes. This person MUST give complete attention to details especially ensuring the correct patients records are scanned and the correct demographics are keyed correctly. This position is 80% STANDING due to the scanning portion of the job so applicant MUST be okay with standing on their feet, scanning and retrieving medical records 80% of the time (20% data entry).This person will be scanning medical records and entering in the demographics of each scanned record in the provided software for coding purposes.
