Physicians will have the options of either joining another physician or establishing a new practice with full hospital support. Call coverage, as well as a very competitive compensation and benefits package, will be offered. The hospital is also planning to offer OB hospitalist services in the fall to assist with deliveries. Hospital is also excited about the upcoming opening of its brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, set for mid-2010! The new hospital will have a Level II nursery and spacious women’s unit with 24 hour anesthesia coverage. Lancaster, a city of over 140,000, is located in Los Angeles County. The city of Los Angeles is just 40 miles away, and San Diego is also located within a 2 1/2 hour drive.
