One of the leading providers of remote cardiac monitoring products and services in Houston is looking for 6-10 medical insurance collectors for a special project. Looking for individuals with Medical Insurance Collection experience -  must have insurance collections, not patient. Must be able to start the week of June 7th. Mon-Fri 8:30 to 5:00 with a 30 min lunch.Summary:Daily accounts receivable collections of insurance claims that are 180 days and older.  Position does have a daily quota that must be maintained.  Extensive phone contact with insurance companies.Responsibilities:Daily follow up of insurance claims that are 180 days and older.Typing skills  25wpm or greater.Must understand insurance Explanation of Benefits to include allowable amounts, discounts, in and out-of-network benefits levels, deductibles, co-insurances and copays.Knowledge of insurance verification.Knowledge of Centricity        Knowledge of PaceArtKnowledge of insurance appeals process Electronic and paper claims processingWorking knowledge of department Special Instructions for insurance carriers and practicesUtilize follow-up systemQualifications:3+ Years Prior Collections ExperienceICD9 and CPT Code KnowledgeMedicare and Medicaid KnowledgeProfessional Telephone EtiquetteMust be able to multi-task Must be able to calculate insurance benefitsGood grammar and spelling requiredExcellent communication skills        Must have insurance collections experience.
