Growing health plan seeks a new leader for Quality Improvement.  The opportunity to build and lead a department for a health plan like this does not come along very often.  Reports directly to the VP, Medical Affairs. Research and incorporate best practices into operations.Organize and control activities, methods, and procedures to achieve business objectives.Formulate and establish policies, operating procedures, and goals in compliance with internal and external guidelines.Knowledge/Experience:   Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other clinical degree.  Five plus years of experience in healthcare operations.  Masters’ Degree preferred. Exp in Quality and NCQA accreditation.License/Certificates: Current Registered Nursing License required. Certified Professional in Health Care Quality preferred.
