Endoscopy surgery center is looking for an RN Clinical Manager to direct the nursing operations in the facility. RN must have at least 1-2 years management experience and must have at least 4 years as an RN and have surgical nursing experience as well. M-F 6am-3:00pm.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES1.        Evaluation of nursing activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service;2.        Ensure that nursing care is carried out as directed, and treatment is administered in accordance with the physician instruction;3.        Directs the hiring, selection, performance review and training of medical personnel;4.        Directs preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records;5.        Orders, or directs ordering of supplies, including drugs, solutions, equipment and maintains records on narcotics;6.        Initiates safe practice and is knowledgeable about current facility policies and procedures;7.        Specific procedures and practices related to pain management assessment and identification, abuse and neglect, sentinel events and response, variance reporting, response to sentinel event alerts, participation in root cause analysis and other key policies and procedures is required;8.        Ensures the appropriate inventory levels of medical supplies, instrumentation and equipment are maintained at the facility to meet organizational goals, JCAHO and Medical standards;9.        Ensure that the facility is properly staffed on a daily basis to meet organizational, JCAHO, Medicare and community standards;10.        Ensure efficient scheduling of surgical procedures and availability of personnel, supplies, instrumentation and equipment;11.        Ensures that Standard Universal Precautions and the principles of aseptic and sterile technique are used appropriately;12.        Implements safe practices and provides knowledgeable guidance and evaluation of environment of care management including life safety (fire prevention), security, hazardous materials and waste management, emergency preparedness, infection control, and the safe use of medical equipment and utilities;13.        Provides assessment of physiologic, mental, and psychosocial health status of the child, adolescent, adults and geriatric patients;14.        Participates in patient/family discharge teaching for children, adults, and geriatric patients;15.        Ensures compliance of the facility with State licensure, Medicare certification and AAAHC accreditation standards.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES1.        Manages all clinical personnel, oversees scheduler ;2.        Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policy and applicable laws;3.        Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees: planning, assigning and directing work: appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.1.        Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, plus one to two (1-2) years related experience of management experience and must have at least 4 years of Nursing experience, with  surgery experience;2.        Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general medical business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations;3.        Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals;4.        Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public;5.        Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;6.        Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables;7.        Current valid State of Texas nursing license;8.        Current CPR Certification.
