Houston Texas’ most revolutionary surgical OR company is looking for a Certified Medical Coder that also is strong in Medical Collections, especially final appeals. Must have excellent communication/negotiation skills, discrepancies/issues with patient billing, coding, writing production logs, etc. Must have STRONG appeals experience and at least 2 years of collections experience. Must be a Certified Coder, unless person has more than 10 years of Coding experience. This person must have enough knowledge where they can be sole Coder for practice (coding was previously outsourced) and also do all the hard collections and final appeals and be a team lead where other employee's can go to for help or questions, so supervisory experience helpful. Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. This person has to have experience doing appeals for non-participating providers. They are out of  network and Coder/Collector has to have experience in negotiating prompt payment discounts and working appeals and not just writing them off.Must have excellent communication/negotiation skills, discrepancies/issues with patient billing, coding, writing production logs, etc. Must have STRONG appeals experience and at least 2 years of collections experience.
