Responsibilities:  Carry out investigative and analytical epidemiologic activities related to surveillance/detection/prevention of chronic and infectious disease and injury; Perform statistical analyses; Provide epidemiologic expertise to health programs; Develop methods to collect/analyze/disseminate data; Generate descriptive analyses of surveillance data for different audiences; Participate in design/management/use of surveillance systems; Identify program surveillance data needs, design data collection instruments, implement surveillance systems.  Other responsibilities include internal support to tribe, external support to states, federal agencies.Qualifications:  Masters degree in Epidemiology, Public Health or Healthcare Administration and 2 years experience in epidemiologic investigations or public health programs; Experience using principles/practices of epidemiology, statistics, related research methods; Cultural sensitivity to work with Native American tribe.
