Clinical Pharmacist with Infectious Disease Specialty job in Texas. Under the supervision of the Regional Clinical Coordinator and the Regional Directory of Pharmacy, incumbent will work directly with the health care teams in monitoring nursing medicine. Other responsibilities include education, representation on medical center committees, and collaboration on clinical initiatives. Documents clinical activities and outcomes. Provides prescribed medications and compounds according to professional standards. Participates in various professional education activities, which includes working with students from the local Colleges of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice Residents. Assists with development and mentoring of clinical staff pharmacist. EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited College of Pharmacy. EXPERIENCE: 2 years hospital clinical experience in Infectious Disease or 1 year hospital clinical experience in Infectious Disease and completion of an accredited Infectious Disease residency program. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Possession of current Texas State Board of Pharmacy License or eligible for reciprocity.
