IntelliChoice Medical Staffing is looking to hire a department chair for the Medical Assistant Program at a local college. If you are interested, please apply or call Catina Smith at 866.981.8775 today!The Program Director works to fulfill school objectives by providing leadership in curriculum development and serving as a liaison between the College and participating medical facilities hosting students completing their clinical externship under the guidance of the Dean of Academic Affairs. The Program Director also serves as the student-success coordinator whose duties will include counseling medical assisting and surgical technology students who are in danger of leaving or failing out of their programs and intervening on their behalf should challenges arise for them in their programs. The Program Director must also meet and fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Medical Assistant Instructor.Required Qualifications -Must be a current Certified Medical Assistant with the AAMA.-Must have a Masters degree in a health related field.-Three+ years related field experience preferred.-Three+ years teaching experience preferred.-Previous educational or related supervisory experience.-Meet requirements of Instructor and capable of teaching a majority of the courses within the program area.-Knowledge and understanding of the professional career paths and demands of the training field.-Ability to inspire students to the highest level of achievement in preparation for meeting employer expectations.-Ability to organize, problem solve, handle multiple tasks, and function as a team member within established school, state, federal, and accrediting agency regulations, policies, and procedures.
