Endoscopy surgery center is looking for an RN with at least 2 years of endoscopy experience that also has Pre-op and PACU experience. M-F 6am-3:00pm. No weekends/no call!! This RN will be working in the endoscopy unit, but will be cross-trained to help out in PACU and Pre-op. Endoscopy unit sees about 30 cases per day. Full benefits once position goes direct hire. Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Endoscopy nurse is supervises and directs patient care in an endoscopy room. Assists the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate. The Endoscopy Nurse is also responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients’ condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time.RN must have at least 2 years of endoscopy experience. Current CPR and ACLS. Must understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation. Must have 2 years of GI experience.
