Director of Medical Staff Services job in Santa Maria, California. Opportunity to work for an organization that offers a broad range of clinical services, recognizes leadership and talent, and fosters individual growth using a team oriented approach. Responsible for coordinating medical staff activities and acting as liaison between the medical staff, nursing staff, ancillary staff, and administration within parameters established by hospital administration and the officers of the medical staff. Responsible for establishing  and maintaining systems for the development and implementation of standards applicable to medical staff members credentialing, privileging, quality improvement/assessment and departmental administrative functions. Provides leadership in promoting the tenets of the Target 100 program in the areas of people, service, finance, quality and growth. Performs other duties as required. Reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Requirements: Minimum five years experience in medical staff management, credentialing and privileging. Previous supervisory experience is required.
