Medical Billing ManagerA large Sacramento based Medical group has an immediate opening for a Medical Billing Manager for their busy office. We are seeking candidates with a minimum 3-4 years experience Managing a medium size (10+) Medical Billing Department.The successful candidate will be responsible for Management of the billing department to include: training, hiring and motivating staff, establishing performance goals and providing coaching, feedback and training/development opportunities. Developing & managing quality improvement for the department as well as establishing and modifying policies, procedures and system improvements.  Above managing the staff the position will also be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate collections and cash receipt postings. Review of ageing reports and coordination of collection unit activities. Coding of hospital and other charges, log of bankruptcy notices, balancing of receipts and sending accounts to collections. Desirable candidates will have the ability to manage priorities and work flow, ability to work complex billing calculations and work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years related experience with a commitment to excellence  and high quality standards.  This is a full time, direct hire position.
