280-bed hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking an RN Director of the Emergency Department. This is a not-for-profit hospital. The ER has 23 beds, 48,000 visits per year with major trauma shipped out. 90 FTEs with a good physician group. Clinical Coordinators are in place to run day-to-day operations. The position reports to the Vice President of Nursing. Qualifications include: RN with ER clinical background and a minimum of 2 years management experience; Bachelors degree required; will consider ADN with ED management experience. Salary range is $85K to $90K plus relocation assistance.
