This is an excellent opportunity for a PA or an NP to join a new general surgery practice in Louisiana. The practice will open in October 2010 and there will be one surgeon on site. The caseload will consist of general surgery cases and orthopedics will be added in the future. This community is located in Caldwell Parrish which is located about an hour south of Monroe with easy access to highway 165. There are an abundance of lakes in the area for recreation and the cost of living is low. This is small town living at its best with easy access to bigger metro areas. The base salary is 80,000 to 85,000 with call 2 days per week. The call will add an additional 15,000 per year in call pay income.
