Director of Nursing Education and Clinical Research job in Memphis, Tennessee. The Director, Nursing Education and Research, is responsible and accountable for planning and directing orientation and educational programs for nursing development while supporting research activities related to patient care. Provides leadership for ensuring that nursing standards and practice guidelines are consistent with evidence-based practice, uniform throughout the organization and in keeping with professional and national standards. Supervises all clinical/cardiac educators. Manages resources consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the hospital. Requirements: M.A./M.S. or equivalent. Current RN Licensure to practice in the State of TN, or eligible. BLS instructor within six months of hire date.
