Oncology Nurse Manager job in Memphis, Tennessee. Seeking an experienced RN, with leadership/ supervisory experience, to lead our oncology unit. The Nurse Manager has responsibility and primary accountability in supervising a multidisciplinary environment for a section or unit. Assigns work, checks results, controls costs, conducts unit staff appraisals for performance, recommends salary increases and promotional recommendations. Responsibilities can also include planning, leadership, and marketing of areas of responsibility. This is a 41 bed med surg oncology unit, adult and geriatric mixture. Requirements include Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Health related field. Experience: RN with 2 years demonstrated management/ supervisory experience. Licensure/Certifications: Current applicable state RN license to practice in the state of Tennessee or eligible, and BLS required. Oncology Nursing Certificate preferred.
