1 Position for 30 hours per week Monday-Friday (Part-time)The ED Charge Auditors are primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity of ED hospital charges, review of ED charts, ensuring that documentation supports all charges, and editing level charges as needed to reflect documentation and orders, working closely with the CMMC Medicare Consultant to keep abreast of required changes in documentation supporting billing. These individuals must demonstrate strong commitment to stakeholder relationships by taking ownership of issues and facilitating effective outcomes in a timely manner.  Required: - LVN - Adept with computers - Motivated - Excellent communication skills - Collaborative team player Recommended: - Understanding of billing, reimbursement, compliance and coding a plus. - Knowledge and experience with Meditech system, Patient accounting, and Collections also a plus.
