Director of Labor and Delivery job in Dallas, Texas. Position responsible for assisting with decision making, program planning, and implementation of clinical care delivery systems which promotes safety and well being of all patients within the system.  Demonstrates sound financial knowledge and management. Facilitates departmental organization and management to achieve optimal and appropriate resource utilization. Builds and maintains strategic relationships. Builds and maintains high performing clinical care delivery teams. Manages conflict and competing imperatives. Builds customer loyalty among physicians, employees and community. Possesses requisite level of technical and professional knowledge in clinical area of expertise including exceptional leadership skills. Requires knowledge of Federal, State and required regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations.  Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage clinical care delivery. The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; as is the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written work. Must be flexible with work scheduling. Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits. RN License required. BLS, ACLS and NRP required.
