Excellent opportunity for Physical Therapist in Vanceburg, Kentucky. Position performs evaluations, develops effective patient treatment plans to restore, compensate or adapt for loss of patient function, by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with standards governing the facility and their discipline. Must be a graduate from an accredited program for PT, sorry no visa candidates or new graduates. This is an SNF setting. The state is a mixture of hundreds of lakes and streams, underground caves, prosperous horse country, and mining towns nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. Reelfoot Lake, in the northwestern corner of the state, was formed when the Mississippi River flowed backwards during the Madrid Fault earthquake of 1812. Other highlights in the city are Glassworks, a unique facility that includes glass studios, galleries and a cafe; the Portland Museum of Art, which includes a sound and light show; the Falls of the Ohio State Park, where visitors can walk onto the worlds largest exposed Devonian fossil bed; Louisville Science Center; and the Speed Art Museum. The two weeks of Derby celebrations lead up to the most important date on Louisville's calendar, the first Saturday in May, when the famous Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs provides an exciting climax to the festivities.
