Coder will work mostly evenings and weekends. This is a remote position. The position will work up to 30 hours per week. Initial training will be in the office in order to learn our system and our coding methodology.   Position Description   Abstracts clinical information from a variety of medical records and assigns appropriate ICD 9 CM and/or CPT codes to patient records according to established procedures. Analyzes, enters and manipulates database.   Minimum Requirements   Knowledge in ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding.  3+ years work experience; two years facility coding experience required.   Additional Knowledge & Skills   8500 ten key speed preferred   Education   High School Diploma or equivalent work experience   Certifications/Licensure   CPC through the AAPC or CCS through AHIMA preferred   Physical Requirements   General Office Demands   Benefits & Company Statement   It starts with you.
