SPECIFIC DUTIES/TASKS THE CONTRACT EMPLOYEE SHALL PERFORM BUT NOT LIMITED TO:•Carry out a program of corrective exercise and treatment for assigned patients, as directed by the head physical therapist.  •Observe patients during treatments and compiles and evaluate data on patient’s responses to treatments and progress and report orally or in writing to the physical therapist.•Fit patients for, adjust, and train patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.•May monitor treatments administered by physical therapy aides.•Act as liaison with nursing, medical staff, and other therapist to facilitate problems solving and coordination of services.  •Assist with maintenance and care of department equipment, supplies and storage, maintain department records and files in accordance with facility policies.•Maintain patient’s records in accordance with MTF requirements and professional standards, documenting evaluation, care plan, treatment, required follow-up-care, and final disposition.Qualifications•Valid certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.•Basic Life Support (BLS) certified•Two years of experience
