A nine physician internal medicine practice in the Medical Center is looking for an experienced Internal Medicine/Family Practice back office Medical Assistants. Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (sometimes clinic will run a little later than 5:00pm so must be willing to stay when busy). MA must have Internal medicine, family practice, or hospital experience (no OBGYN or Pedi). This person will be taking manual vitals, doing some light phone triage (taking symptoms), injections, immunizations, very little phlebotomy, EKG's, charting and must have computer skills. Must have at least 2 years experience as an MA. MA's must be up to par with Internal Medicine drugs and generics for diabetes, anxiety, blood pressure medicines, pain and cardiac drugs. This MA will be paired with one Physician and Dr. sees anywhere from 10-20 patients per day. Clinic is very busy so must be used to a fast paced environment. MA has to be assertive and a self-starter. Benefits: After 90 days, medical, dental and vision. PTO and holiday's off. Free parking from day one.
