Lakeside Health System is seeking LPN's for all shifts at the Beikirch Care Center, a skilled nursing facility. Lakeside Health System is located in Brockport, New York. We are a 181-bed healthcare system, serving a three-county area. In addition to Lakeside Memorial Hospital, we have the Beikirch Care Center (a skilled nursing facility), a Family Wellness Center, and Urgent Care Centers in Spencerport and LeRoy. From housekeeping to finance, food service to nursing, and maintenance to billing, each Lakeside employee is valued for the important role they play in providing the best possible service to patients and the community. The LPN will report directly to the Nurse Manager for the Unit. The LPN provides direct skilled nursing care to facility residents/clients. Oversees the day-to-day nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants (CNA’s). Maintains accountability for the functioning of assigned unit during shift. Provides resident/client care and ensures that certified nursing assistants provide care in a manner that promotes the highest level of functioning, maintains dignity, and respects residents’ rights. Applicants must meet the following criteria for consideration: Graduate of accredited school. Current NYS LPN license. One year of experience in acute or long-term care preferred. Able to speak, read, and write the English language. Able to function in polite, professional manner when dealing with staff, residents/clients, families, and physicians/allied health professionals.
