Assistant CFO - Hospital (CFO Training Program)This is an excellent opportunity to join a large well established hospital system and train under an established hospital CFO for approximately 2 years to become a hospital CFO.  When you are ready to become a CFO you will be relocated to a new hospital within the division, most likely somewhere in Texas.Compensation: Base $100-$145 with 15% bonus potential.Education/CertificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required.  A CPA and/or MBA in Accounting are desirable.Professional QualificationsCompetenceMinimum five years of progressive financial healthcare or equivalent experience in the areas of general accounting; operations; financial  systems; financial statement preparation; review and analysis; multi-discipline management experience; and ethics, preferably in a for-profit environment.Good organization skills with the ability to prioritize work load and successfully manage all financial activities.Demonstrated success in building value within an ethical manner and achieving financial expectations.Solid financial management experience including financial operations, strategic and financial planning, acquisitions and strategic alliances, Treasury and Risk Management, managed care contracts, reimbursement, budgeting and capital financing in a complex environment.A thorough understanding of healthcare trends with the ability to anticipate opportunitiesIf you would like to be considered for this position, please email your resume to markb@thesearchexecs.com.  www.thesearchexecs.com
