Eligibility for or successful completion of Part I (written) examination for registration by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists. 2. Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) or accredited Electro Neurodiagnostic (END) Program, or an associates degree or higher from an accredited college or university.3. 2 + years health related experience and competency in IONM for the modalities which are required.Shift/Schedule: 72 hours per two week pay period, Mon - Fri, day shift, on-call week nights & weekends every sixth week. Summary: The Intraoperative Neurophysiology Technologist performs surgical and clinical electroneurodiagnostic testing. Exercises professional judgment in performing of procedures, provides direct patient care to the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient under the supervision of the Manager of Neurophysiology, the Director of Neruosciences and Vice President of Patient Care. Strong, well developed communication skills are an asset for this position. Qualifications: Eligibility for or successful completion of Part I (written) examination for registration by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists. Completion of a Commission onAccreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) or accredited Electro Neurodiagnostic (END) Program, or an associates degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred. A minimum of two (2) years health related experience required. Competency in IONM for the modalities which are required. Current CPR certification required.
