The Palliative Center for Caring at St. Ann's Community is seekingRegistered Nurses for their Rochester, NY, location. Per diem and Part Time Nights and Evenings available.St. Ann’s Community and Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester and Monroe County, Inc. (VNS) partnered to create the Palliative Center for Caring, a 5-bed inpatient care center for patients needing short-term hospice and palliative care.  The Palliative Center for Caring is the first of its kind in Rochester to be located in a skilled nursing facility. Patients requiring specialized care are welcomed from the local community and from area hospitals. Seeking passionate & dedicated RNs with recent acute experience, preferably with inpatient hospice nursing experience.Education:a) High School Diploma or GEDb) successful completion of an accredited registered nursing programc) current and valid NYS license as a  registered professional nursed) 2 years of nursing experience in an acute-care setting (e.g., hospital or acute inpatient hospice unit) within the last five years.
