A 4-Physician Cardiology practice in Northwest Houston is looking for an experienced cardiology Biller. Position is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with a half an hour lunch. Practice does 70% Medicare with the rest being commercial. This is a stable practice with excellent employee retention. This person will be billing, working denials and posting EOB's. Biller must have some cardiology billing experience and also have some supervisory experience as well. Dress code is business attire and on Monday and Thursday's neat jeans because there is no clinic.This person must have at least 4 years experience and at least 1 year specifically billing for Cardiology. Familiarity with Cardiology codes is a must. Must have strong Medicare billing experience. Must be strong with claim appeals, working denials, charge entry, insurance verification, follow up calls and getting the claims paid. Must have very strong experience in posting EOB's. Biller must have medical clinic/office experience, not hospital. Looking for someone mature, team player, someone with a "lead" type personality, self sufficient. Previous job stability is a must-no job hopping. Candidate must live close to the Willowbrook area (within 25 miles). Benefits if and when position goes direct hire include medical (after 90 days of direct hire employment), vacation and sick (accrued), 401K (match) and pension.This person must have at least 4 years experience as a biller and 1 year specifically in Cardiology.  Must be familiar with Cardiology codes and must have strong Medicare billing experience.
