Prestigious, 40 year old, Internal Medicine facility in Rice Village is seeking an experienced (at least 3-4 years) medical collections rep to work in the business office. Collector MUST have at least a year of Oncology Collections experience to include infusion and chemo collections. Must be familiar with Oncology drugs and terminology. Collector has to have experience interacting with patients to financially counsel, and understand benefits specific to oncology services. The Clinic specializes in Internal Medicine and also offers the following various sub-specialties: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology and Medical Oncology. The clinic's Mission Statement includes: To be employer-of-choice to employees.Must have at least 1 year of recent Oncology specific collections experience.  Insurance follow up is a big part of the position. Must have Medicare & Commercial payers experience. No certification required. This is a busy medical clinic and there is a heavy work load. Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
