Houston Texas’ most revolutionary surgical OR company is looking for a Medical Billing/Collections Supervisor. Person will be supervising 5 billers and be their direct report and also be a back up to the Collections Supervisor who manages 5 collectors, but this Supervisor will be doing a lot of collections. The Billing/Collections Supervisor is a full time, forty hour per week position. The work hours are 7:30am or 8:30am to 4:30pm or 5:30pm, Monday thru Friday. Weekend hours are expected as required by workload. This person reports directly to the Billing and Collections Manager. Candidate MUST have strong out of network billing and collections. This person needs to be a little stronger in collections, since they will be doing all the 3rd level final appeals that the collectors have already tried to appeal twice. Candidate must also have very strong denials/appeals experience. No supervisory experience required. Must know how to write an appeals letter and the proper way to respond to denied claims. Must have RECENT out of network billing and collections experience. This person can come from any specialty.Benefits when/if position goes direct hire (after contract period): 70% paid medical, vision, dental, and life insurance (benefits are given after a 90 day period as an employee-this does not include the time on contract).
