Full-time Cancer Center LVN - Houston, TX 77074

Large 9 Physician Urology practice, with several different locations is looking for an LVN to join their growing team at their Cancer Center in the Memorial area. This LVN will be working for this practice's Cancer Center. The Cancer Center specializes in radiation treatments for all types of cancers (no chemo). This cutting edge clinic treats both pediatric and adult patients.  LVN must have at least 5 years of experience and must be proficient in drawing blood, taking vitals, patient history's and setting up rooms.  Hours are 8am-5pm M-F. LVN must also be computer literate (practice uses Meridian).Benefits include holidays off, PTO, 100% employee paid medical insurance, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, long and short term disability, 401K, employee matching, company profit sharing. We divide the annual premiums for medical by 24 so that means in April and October there is one check that has no premiums taken out.Employees are eligible to receive insurance benefits on the first day of the month following their 90th day of employment. The Practice's health insurance provider is Humana (www.humana.com).  Dental, Short-Term Disability, and Life Insurance is provided by MetLife (www.metlife.com).  Vision coverage is provided by VSP (www.vsp.com).   Clinic offers the following employee insurance coverage:-        Medical (2 PPO plans to choose from)-        Dental -        Vision -        Prescription Drugs-        Life Insurance -        Accidental Death & Dismemberment -        Short Term Disability-        Long Term Disability Clinic pays for 100% of the employee premium for Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.  Each employee also receives enrollment in three separate Life Insurance policies and Long Term Disability at no out of pocket expense. 401(k) PlanEmployees are eligible to participate in the plan after one year of employment.  You may invest up to 100% of your salary (pre-tax) in your 401(k) account, subject to an annual IRS dollar limitation. The Company's 401(k) investment options are through John Hancock, Edward Jones, and Miller-Green.Employer MatchingClinic matches employee 401(k) contributions in the amount of 1% for each 1% the employee contributes (up to a total of 3%). Employees begin vesting in employer contributions after 2 years of service and are fully vested at the end of 6 years of service. Company Profit SharingClinic may make an annual profit-sharing contribution to each employee's 401(k) plan.  This profit sharing percentage is set each year by the owners and is typically a function of profitability.  Employees begin vesting in employer contributions after 2 years of service and are fully vested at the end of 6 years of service. Time Off From WorkClinic offers a Paid Time Off (PTO) policy that allows employees to schedule for vacation and sick time.  PTO accrues from the employee's date of hire and is available for use after 90 days of employment.  In addition, Clinic provides 7 specified holidays for 2010.LVN must have at least 5 years experience and have a Texas LVN license. Must be able to pass a background check. Doctor's office experience is preferred over hospital experience. Excellent job tenure is a must. Practice uses Meridian as their electronic medical records system and they will train.
