Sr. Provider Contract Analyst Very visible role is a critical element in the profitability of all national contracts for this growing Fortune 500 company. Track the performance of national and vendor agreements according to targeted program metrics and manage the department’s contract and data filing and storage function. Function as department’s health care data analysis expert, including extracting data from enterprise data warehouses, identifying trends and opportunities in the data for each health plan, and formatting results of data analysis for presentation and communication to the health plans and executive level management. Participate in department meetings with health plans and corporate staff to review agreement performance data and scorecards. Manage the department’s contract documentation tracking process, including the creation of a department database to be used for producing agreement amendments and other related documents and mailings, tracking the status of review and execution, and monitoring the renewal cycle for all agreements. Coordinate data analyses for prospective vendor or national agreements as requested, including obtaining data from or furnishing data to vendors, and managing the flow of documents pertaining to the department’s vendor request for proposal (RFP) process. ________________________________________Knowledge/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance or related field. 4-6 years of health care industry experience including vendor and/or provider contract analysis or negotiations, extensive experience in health care data analysis and management, including data extraction and transfer, creation of reports, analysis of data, data validation, data presentation (executive level), and the creation and use of negotiations modeling tools. Experience with government programs (Medicaid), audits, and compliance monitoring programs also preferred.
