A nine-physician internal medicine practice in the Medical Center is looking for an experienced Internal Medicine/Family Practice Medical Assistants. Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (sometimes clinic will run a little later than 5:00pm so must be willing to stay when busy). MA must have Internal medicine, family practice, or hospital experience (no OBGYN or Pedi). This person will be doing mostly front office, but some back office as well.  MA will be answering phones, scheduling, taking messages, and transferring calls.  They will also be cross-trained to do the back office, when needed.  (Rooming, vitals, doing some light phone triage (taking symptoms), injections, immunizations, and very little phlebotomy, EKG's, charting and must have computer skills). Must have at least 2 years experience as an MA. Clinic is very busy so must be used to a fast paced environment. MA has to be assertive and a self-starter.
