The U.S. Army Reserve is currently seeking board certified Psychiatrist to serve in our Reserve medical units. We have units where you serve as little as 12 days per year in one of our fixed military hospitals, or you may desire to be part of a fully mobile Field Hospital where you serve two days a month plus two weeks a year. Whichever method of serving you might choose, you would enjoy camaraderie and esprit-de-corps associated with being part of an organization accustomed to winning.The Army Reserve consists of soldiers who maintain full time civilian careers. As a Psychiatrist you may be eligible to receive a commission as a U.S. Army Reserve Officer. You may also be eligible for $75,000 in special pay incentives and a $50,000 Health Professional Loan Repayment Program. Additionally, if you serve for 20 years in the Reserves, you are eligible for a military retirement starting at age 60 or you can serve as little as 3 years. Upon retirement you would be entitled to a monthly check, healthcare benefits, full military base benefits and world wide space available travel on military aircraft. It is a VERY COMPETITIVE retirement package for a part-time career. AGE WAIVERS ARE AUTHORIZED FOR THE US ARMY MEDICAL CORPS
