Medical Insurance Authorization Specialist / Patient CoordinatorThis well established and growing private practice is looking for an experienced Insurance Authorization Specialist / Patient Coordinator for specialty surgery. Part time to start working into a full time permanent position •        Located centrally in San Diego•        Monday – Friday schedule, 4 – 5 hours per day•        Heavy phone contact with Patients and Insurance Companies •        Research patients insurance coverage and secure authorizations  •        Coordinate care with patients and provide ongoing support and guidance•        Authorizations for tests and procedures•        Schedule test and procedures•        Back up to Receptionist as time allows•        Must be self motivated to work independently•        The pay rate is approximately $15.00 – 17.00 hour to start.          This position requires at least two years of recent work experience as Medical Insurance Specialist / Patient Coordinator in a medical office or clinic setting.  This opportunity is offered through Plaza Personnel Service, a permanent placement employment agency.  Plaza Personnel Service has specialized in direct hire medical staffing for Doctors offices in the San Diego area since 1991.  Please visit our web site at www.PlazaPersonnelService.comLook for Plaza Personnel Service on Facebook .... join the conversation
